My parent's might be buying me a macbook . But first they want to know how big it is and the disadvantages/advantages of it. Does anyone have a picture of their's? Here's a picture:

Are those the specs of the one that you would get?
I have one and I like mine alot, I will try and get pcitures in a minute.

Yes it does have speakers, they are ok for when you are taking it places, but when you are at your desk, you would be better off buying a $20 set of 2.1 speakers and using those, because the speakers built in aren't very loud.

Question for you though, what do you need the pictures for, you can get really accurate measurements if you just google it.

cool. i always liked macs for their simple design. i wouldnt mind owning an apple macbook pro but its too expensiv...

advantages

-ease of use of OS X
-you can boot up OS X and Windows Vista (best of both worlds)
-battery life
-good for musik editing and film

disadvantages
-too expensive
-not good for gaming
-pple might think your a flamer. haha jk

-osx is just preference. its not better or easier than anything.
-macs get less viruses, but its so easy to keep a computer clean that it doesnt matter
-macs getting better battery life is false.
-video editting isnt any better on macs anymore

macs look nicer, but no one should pay several hundred dollars more than they would on an equal pc just to get the mac name.

Pictures from manufacturerer's websites always look different from pictures people take themselves, I just want to see how it looks, in REAL life, y'know?
