Hey I have a macbook pro and i installed bootcamp-windows xp,vista, and 7. All times the sound has been extremely quiet, and the head phone jack will not work, a red light is being displayed when I look at the head phone jack. I've looked on other forums, and some people have got fixes through downloading other drivers...but nothing has worked for me. If anybody knows how to fix this, please let me know!!!
thanks in advance.

The drivers are on the OS X installer DVD. If you have the red light, that is a sensor indicating that your head phone jack is switched on and your speakers therefore would be switched off.

Does this problem happen when you boot into OS X?

I installed the osx drivers, but the sound is still extremely quiet and the head phone jack is still lit up red. And no in OSX my sound and headhpone jack works fine.

Hmm that is very strange. All the software settings in Windows are good? Set for laptop speakers and all of those particulars?

If you plug in head phones in the Windows side does it still have the same effect?
