machine_exeption_error

[Dystopia]

So someone I know has this computer, has for quite a quite now, getting this random error:

machine_exeption_error

Any clue on the problem? It happens when booting up, when playing games, or even when just sitting htere. He has run memtest, and his ram checks out. Everything else is working. He had an nvidia card in there, then switched to ATI, still happens. We think it might be the mobo. Are we right? Thanks
