macs switching to intel

so it looks like apple is gonna be throwing in the towel in the fight against intel. apparently, theyve gotten tired of IBM and decided it was in the companys best interest to start carrying intel cpus. its funny...i was reading an article, and sometime in the early 90s, mac had an ad which showed a pentium II glued onto a snail.

its kinda too bad though, i always thought macs were cool for being kind of like an exclusive sub-culture in the computer society.
 
People will go mad duel booting a MAC with XP, Heard MAC was fixing the new OSX cd so you cant install it on a intel regular PC though
 
yea...it seemed like the company responsible for that (freescale semiconductor inc, a sub company of motorola) wasnt able to make a g5 notebook. that wasnt the only reason behind it, but it was probably the biggest.
 
if more games start comking out for macs with the new intel processors its gonna be sweet. the mac OSX is so muc better than windows and i will buy all my games for macs.
 
i thought about going mac for a while...i just didnt like the one button mouse. but i guess you can buy one with two buttons...?

With that PC, I suggest you stay with Windows.... :D

Yep, the mac MIGHTY MOUSE, seems a bit of an overstatement considering it still has only 2 buttons, and the best part, a scroll wheel :P
