Magic Jack on Win 7 Home Premium

For years, I've had my Magic Jack hooked up to my Win XP PC. I set it so it would never go to sleep. If I hook it up to my Win 7HP PC, will it work even after the PC enters sleep mode. Will it wake up for a call? Or do I need to make it not sleep like I did with XP? I don't want to miss any calls. And how do I change this setting in Win 7?
 
Power options in control panel. On the left panel click on choose when computer sleeps and change it to never.

On a side note, have you thought about upgrading to the magic jack plus? The magic jack plus allows you to hook it up directly to router and not through the pc.

I have the plus one, and I look forward to using it when I can install a cord long enough to reach the router.
It's about 40 feet and would go under the house.
Or can you tell me a way to do it without a cord?
That would be great!
For now I'm using it the old way.
Thanks for your reply. I just did the change. Now I can install the MJ and turn off my old PC.
 
So your phone isn't near the router? If you don't want to move the phone to the router then you will have to run a cable to where the phone is.
