can anyone help unfortunately i was on a laptop and a magnetic pen rolled down and touch the screen and it went black is there any way i can get it back to normal
 
Magnets have no affect (that I notice) on LCDs. Heck, I just tried it on my LCD.

The only thing I can think of is that it knocked out the backlight. Can you faintly see the outline of... something?
 
yes i can faintly see things in the back ground have heard its the backlight from people at work have you any idea how much they are and how easy to fix thanks for your reply
