Majicjack Windows Conflict.

Okay so I have a USB phone device some of you may now.. Majicjack. When it's installed my mouse sticks/freezes to the task bar while minimizing or maximizing any window. Really annoying.

I was on chat with MJ for 2 hours this morning with 4 different people. None of them could resolve the issue, they all think it is the mouse. But when the mouse is unplugged and I use the touch pad the mouse still sticks.

The only way to get it to stop sticking is to restore back to a point b4 I have MJ installed. Regular add remove programs does not work.

I want to use MJ, but need some help figuring out where the conflict is. It works fine on another computer so I know it is something or setting or program on this one.

Just wondering how about I would figure this out?

I've heard of magic jack causng so many computer issues its not funny. So this must be on a laptop? If you have a desktop system, I would put the magic jack device on it. I really don't think a laptop will have the usb power to power the device without causing havoc on the machine.

I also have a Magic Jack and it works perfectly on my Toshiba laptop. If you happen to have, or know someone with a powered USB hub that you could borrow, see if it works on there without issue. I know the Magic Jack says not to use a hub, but that's because of the power issue. If you're supplying external power to the MJ, it may resolve the problem. Otherwise, you may just have to stick to the desktop computer, as John suggested.
