Major help needed for beginner

Hi, I just installed Windows xp onto my laptop and everything was deleted. My sound, wireless adapters, and all drivers don't work. The computer says no devices are not connected. My laptop is Lenovo Thinkpad R60e. I am not good at computers so i don't know what to do. Any help would we appreciated!

Ok i got the drivers for internet,but the CD drive is removable. How can i fix that?

You mean the CD drive is a USB drive, or it actually comes out of the side of the laptop?

Regardless, there should be a model number and manufacturer on it somewhere. Post back with that, and we might be able to find some.

yeah, like a usb stick, it says, safely remove hardware. it says :twh xmvch63kp scsi cdrom device
