Many Isp's gives you a pass to log on with, not only the dial up type but many different broadband services sometimes got this, very common.

There are software for autologin available.

yeah

that is where I was going to go with that.......Although, my parents have a isp that has a logon before your modem will connect but then again why would they pose on t.v.( a always on connection lets you connect faster) :o

that still hasn't really answered my question about my friends internet dropping out after they go to a different webpage
could it be spyware or a virus????
i recently scaned there pc and found 196 spyware files inside there pc after i removed them all thats when everything started to drop out with the net
thanks

Is there a revert settings thing on that spyware scanner? Which one did you use?

i use adaware-SE pro
i am not sure if u can revert the setting, do you think that the net dropping out has something to do with the spyware program
the only thing that it found were tracking cookie and one registry problem which came back vunerable (i think thats how ya spell it)
thanks
