MAJOR problems with my laptop.

There are 3 trojans that Norton can't remove and there is also an error that prevents me from opening any programs. Everytime I click on a program, it says "xxxx.exe has produced errors and is shutting down." or something like that. And it never opens. I can't run any spyware and there's a stupid toolbar that I can't get rid of.

I can't even get into add or remove programs. Very Frustrating.

Boot to safemode and run Norton, see if it can delete them then.

Running Norton in safemode didn't work...

try writing down where they are when norton finds them and then boot in to safe mode and delete things one at a time...i would check the reg when you do this. it's very time consuming but is affective.
