make a sata to use cable?

I have a sata drive that I would like to use but mother board doesn't have a sata connector on it, can I make a cable to go from sata to usb? I have a usb cable, sata cable, and I know how to solder. Can anyone help please?

Unfortunately no. You could put the hard drive into a case that contains a converter for sata to usb such as this.

Or you can by a pci expansion card that has sata ports on it.
