 Looking for solution.
Hi to all.
I was trying to re-install my winxp as I did already not once before, however this time I had a DVD drive in my laptop. Now, after I cleaned the hard drive I was trying to start the setup from the cd rom (dvd-rom) but it does not recognizing this drive. I have a diskette to load cd-rom driver, but no use for dvdrom.
Can’t start windows. Please help. Any thoughts on how I can get around, or to make the laptop recognize this dvdrom…
Many thanks.

Ok, I got this figured out. And just for FYI, the solution was simple – make DVD rom first in boot sequence on the startup setup. This way it’ll start from CD/DVD rather than from floppy or HD.
