Make/Receive Calls from PC using phone line?

Hi everybody,
Anyone knows any software with which you make or recieve phone calls from the computer... no internet just phone line ... like the normal phone but on the computer... any idea ?

you can run a phone line through the back of the modem in the internet slot and put a phone in through the phone slot of the back of the modem

XP comes with a phone dialer program...it just isn't added to the communications menu anymore...but its still there.

To Run Phone Dialler:

1. Click the Start button

2. From the Start menu click Run

3. In the Run dialog box type: dialer.exe and press Enter

4. The dialer application will now open

and i can use it like a normal phone now, using the speakers and the mic ?

well.. i need to "brodcast" a conference (only audio) by phone from london to lebanon, and i want to record this audio and put it on speaker at the same time
