Make sure someone reads my emails?

Ok, I have a situation at hand, I really desperately needs to know if someone that I have been emailing to is out of town or simply not responding to my emails.

Is there anyway that will let me know wether my emails are read or not?

If you use outlook you can ask for a "read receipt", but they need to let their computer send it...

Outlook is a pop3 program that download your yahoo or google mail to your desktop.

yeah, I use the new yahoo beta mail mostly....

I tried this and it turned out to ask me to register for this service

Wow, That works! I just sent a e-mail from one e-mail account to another with .confirm.to added after .com and after i read it I got a "reciept" sent to my account which i sent it to! Thanks for the info!(Although I dont know why it asked you to register, It didn't happen to me)
