makin my own OS

I've been slowly putting together an os of my own...

My computer crashed from a virus and now ive lost all of my work...

Hope this doesnt sound cheeky, but could someone put together a basic (verry basic) OS for me that will install on a windows pc.

i dont know why but when i go to install ubuntu it just says an error. it dissapears bfor i can read it. Thats why i wanted sm1 to make one.
 
lol, guys relax, maybe he was (or did he) maybe he was just coding out of nothing but the end result wouldn't be an OS, probably a wallpaper...lol

Even to write a kernal and compiler that would have a very very very basic instruction set would take your hundreds of man hours.

It just sounds like he's lookin for someone to do al the hard work for him. I thought it was a little strange too that Ubuntu would not install on his computer, and why he would not have tried another distro.

Basically he's asking someone to do a lot of work for free...

Who knows maybe he really did but still, think realistic here.

A lot of work is an understatement. Making an OS that is usable would take thousands of man hours, maybe millions. It's not something you would do everyday ;)
I made an OS for PICAXE 18x Microcontroller and the farthest ive gotten it to do is to display words on a text display and i have been working on it for at least 50 hours.
