This is the RAM you want. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...e=CT8G4DFD8213.C16FAR1-_-20-148-857-_-Product

When you build a computer you should always make sure the RAM is QVL certified by the motherboard manufacture. All you gotta do is type in the motherboard model and the letters QVL into Google and you'll find a website or PDF showing what RAM has been tested with that motherboard. If it's a PDF, you can copy/paste the RAM's model number into Newegg and you should be able to find it. Sometimes they won't have it. If your PDF viewer can't copy text. Try the Foxit PDF viewer. In fact, I highly recommend it above bloatware Adobe crap. I stopped using them over ten years ago.

For your hard drive requirements. I'd use a small SSD for games and a 1TB platter for spill over for things like music and other programs or games that don't benifit from hard drive speed all that much. I never played WoW, but if it uses the hard drive a lot for level loading for example, then a SSD will be what you need.

You might be able to get a used i5 6600 on eBay for cheap. That's where I bought mine.

Operating system: Do you mind a built-in keylogger in the OS? No, then use Windows 7.

To install an operating system (OS for short) it's really easy. Since you are using a Gigabyte motherboard you can gain access to BIOS by constantly pressing the Delete key while the computer boots. There you can set the XMP (profile) for your RAM and configure other settings. You could also hit the F12 key as the computer starts to get options on what device you want to boot. In the case of installing an OS, you want to chose the CD drive of course. The operating system CD will copy files and reboot. It may again ask you if you want to boot from CD again. Don't chose that option this time. Just let it boot.

According to the minimum system requirements, a 750 will suffice.
