Making D: drive C: drive

The Dmac

Basically I have a spare netbook and when ever I format it, D: drive seems to have all the space and C: is limited to about 100mb or so. The C: drive is called 'System Reserved' and D: is Local Disk. I'm basically after a way to allocate space from D: to C: so I can once again make C: the partition in which Windows is installed on. Having Windows on D: has caused issues in the past with some programs. I am prepared to format if that's all that can be done in order to fix this.

I am using Windows XP SP3 32bit as this is a netbook as Windows 7 ran real bad on it.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply.

Did that, and now I have D: and 'Unparitioned Space' with the 100mb or so but still no C:

EDIT: Never mind, also deleted 'Unparitioned Space' and now I only have C: remaining, thanks!

The 100mb partion at the start called system reserved is made by windows if you let it format the drive, system reserved partion is where windows stores boot info to try and keep it safe.

Do you have a windows disc or a recovery partion ?
