Making sure I can OC...

i'm about to buy this mobo...

However, some user reviews have mentioned it note being overclockable while others are bragging about OCing their CPU. How can i make sure that a mobo has OCing functions? I've never OCed anything before and would like to try it with this new rig.

It has also mentioned that this mobo doesn't have enough fan connectors. I'll eventually get a case with 2 or 3 120mm fans and 1 or 2 80mm fans. Are there adapters or interfaces on PSUs to which i could resort?
 
Well it's not a good motherboard, but you can OC with it.

You can hook fans straight into your power supply, you don't have to worry about having enough motherboard connections.

okay let me just say.... i wouldent even put an ECS into a computer thats supposed to be blown up and nothing more, thats how much they suck...


get a cheap ASUS or a cheap MSI motherboard... at $70 you can get the DFI Infinity
 
I have build 3 computers with ECS motherboards so far.. and they are not bad quality.. they dont have much extra's.. wich is what makes them cheap usually. also.. they are in the mainboard buisness for a really long time now, and their motherboards are quite reliable. the only downside of them, (except the lack of much feats) they dont tend to overclock very well. ;)

i agree, ECS's to me are like dells.... they are only good in value but thats it.... id still pick a $70 DFI over the $70 ECS though...
