Got myself a very cheap laptop the other day, and it's incredibly slow - apparently DELL saw fit to sell a laptop with 512mb ram which runs vista.
I've ordered a 2gbs of ram, which coupled with its 1.6ghz processor, should run at a decent speed.
I quite want to keep vista though, and since it's a dell computer it's full of all the nonsense they ship it with, and I don't have any proper vista installation disks.
Is there a way I can 'reset' vista? By that I mean, is there a way vista can revert itself to it's original state, without any installed software? Or is it going to just be a case of me going through and trying to uninstall everything?
Also, how good is vistas firewall?
ta very much love
