My computer was infiltrated today with "A360 antivirus" malware. An innocent email from my brother started the entire affair!

Is there a removal program that doesn't cost anything? There are a lot of free scans out there. That's nice, but I like to not pay for software. Any suggestions or can someone guide me through a process to get this cleared up?

alright time for hijack this, adaware free edition, maybe a free virus scanner such as avira, avg or avast, and spybot search and destroy.

Ok....im new here and dont really wanna ask the guy for a hijackthis log lol, does anyone do this on this board?

There was a guy...i cant remember his name...he looked at everyones logs but that was like 2 years ago when I was active here....

This post is in the wrong area though. This needs to be moved to computer security so that people who specialize in that will see it.
