Malwarebytes free or not

Is Malwarebytes really free or just a 30 day trial? I downloaded it to my new computer, now it says my trial will run out in 3 days.

Yes its free. When you first installed it, you allowed the 30 day free trial of the paid version which means it was always scanning your machine for active malware. On the main screen you will see where it says "end free trial" to the right where it says real time protection. Just click it and you will have the regular free program.
