Have used their free scanning for quite some time.

After getting some infections with eset over recent months, now thinking about doing both. But believe they are compatible.

Any feedback on Malwarebytes appreciated.

MalwareBytes has good active malware protection, but it's not exactly a virus protection, so you can run it alongside your current antivirus.

I've used it for the last few years without issue. The unfortunate part is it's a yearly subscription unlike the lifetime subscription it used to be.

...and I also noticed they took off their 19.95 promo for three pc's lately.

Any other virus protection you'd recommend alongside eset for viruses?

Possible another combination malware/virus program?

Have tried Spyware Dr, Norton, Mcaffe...(but not with eset) in the past
Did Norton and Spyware Dr together.

I have the Premium and it covers virus protection , as far as I know. Haven't heard about the yearly subscription. Is that just for new subscription?

I have the premium version before it went yearly so I have the full license. It is a very good program and with its chameleon software and has got rid of many malware that other programs have failed too. Didn't know it had gone yearly subscription though but still it's good software.

If you bought it before they went to yearly, then you keep it forever. Only new customers have to pay a yearly fee.

Wish I'd have gotten before the changeover.

But doesn't malwarebytes use a different method rather than operating from blacklists?

same here, i got it on work laptop along with bitdefender. whatever you choose u need anti-virus and malware scanning.
if it's a work pc, (or u're at uni) then you can get a tax rebate . . . :P
