That is old news. What sucks is that Gears Of War is probably Vista only, too. Since that's supposed to be coming out on the PC sometime.

If you weren't being sarcastic then yes, it is from a trusted site. If you don't think Bungie is a reliable source then they shall shoot you into the sun with a giant slingshot.

Anyways, by the time Halo 2 Vista is released I'll be playing Halo 3...or the beta at least.
 
They should sell a stripped down 'gaming' version of windows vista

One that uses as few system resources as possible, and creates more of a console gaming experience.

There's just a "WINDOWS VISTA GAMES" back-drop, and it says "insert disc"

And then it automatically boots the games.

Even if it was built in to the full retail release, that'd be amazing as an f8 boot option.

No instance of 'explorer' it just loads direct x into memory, and then the game, with no additional processes.
 
yeah, i might get one then. (I'm cheap)


P.S. I read the vista only thing over a year ago on the bungie FAQ
