Mapped drive

ok so i've mapped my drive successfully to another PC (using XP).
But one thing i've notice is that sometimes i can't get access to it (even if username/password) is correct.
I remember there was a command that went like "net use*" or something, that makes network drives persistant.
this problem is driving me nuts
(the only way to reconnect is to : un-mapp, then log off, then log in, and re-map)

any ideas what is that command ?

thanks

Simply run a search on the term at Microsoft to see a Microsoft description. Note the following is from the XP Pro resource kit. The various switches you can use with the net use command are seen at the MS page there.

Net use

Connects a computer to or disconnects a computer from a shared resource, or displays information about computer connections. The command also controls persistent net connections. Used without parameters, net use retrieves a list of network connections.
