I had a problem before x-mas with my radeon 9800pro, getting way low scores and no one could ever figure out why.

I got my 6800 today and ran mark and I got only 4970

I know that cant be that good, I think usually you get like 5200+ right out of the box no overclocking right?

Hmm

Seems just about right but we would have to know the rest of your PC specs. I would expect 5000+ though.

i beleive mark05 is very cpu dependant so that might be it. But its not like you have a bad cpu so i aint sure. How about the drivers are they all up to date?

even 5200 seems low for that, i get 5618 in 3DMark05 and i have the same memory and cpu as you (but mines overclocked), and the 6800GT is better then my card.

Same as my current specs. So far I've only upgraded the video card. I get 7121 or something like that with the 7800.

You know, I actually changed something that seems to make Fear run much better. Perhaps I'll rebench my computer...

well, he could also have a 754-pin A64, so you never know... and besides, im only getting 5740, the GS benches better then a GT(Although the GT out preforms the GS in actual gameplay)

Back when I had my sapphire 9800pro 128mb I got very low scores also. I was getting like, 2698 or something. When my friend who has the same card was getting 3000.

My drivers are all up to date, yes.

Want me to post my MSINFO?

why everyone looks at thos 3dmark scores anyway?
i mean.. it says about as much over a pc's in game parformance as a sheep knows about xmas. :-/

i wouldnt worry to much.. if your card runs games fine.

My games play fine.

Doom 3 on al high.

FEAR on all maximum except the CPU is on High.

But, I know my radeon was for some reason being less then what it was suppose to be. So i was worried my 6800 was going to do less then what it should do.
