Man I found this game so confusing, the collectors are the protheans? What was all the stuff about the reapers? I liked ME1 story much butter, but then again I fully understood it... can someone explain the plot to me?

I haven't completed it yet but I'm just about done. I find that reading these articles helps to clear up details I missed in the game and complete the picture for the story.

I read that, still doesnt mention what the whole prothean thing was , what it had to do with the story.. I just read the "plot"
