Maximum processor for MS-7093

Hello all.

I am attempting to find the fastest processor possible for my computer before the 939's go entirely extinct. I know the MS-7093 was used in many Gateway, HP, and eMachine systems so I'm hoping someone will know something ;). What I would like to do is put this into my Gateway 827GM (well, there really isn't much left of Gateway's components):

This fits my budget nicely and I want to jump on it before they go. From the research I've been doing, this is the same chip as the FX60 except without the unlocked multiplier. The MS-7093 doesn't support overclocking, so it doesn't really matter to me. Now here's the thing. MSI hasn't tested the Opteron 185 on the motherboard yet. I emailed them and what I got was "We do not recommend using untested processors on motherboards." But the FX60 passed their testing. Here's a link to the supported CPUs page:

So do you guys think the Opteron 185 will work?

P.S. Where does the 6000+ come into play compared to the FX60 and Opteron 185?

Its hard to tell, some boards will boot up and run fine and just call it a unknown processor, where some wont boot at all. Where the problem comes in at is, if you cant change any setting in the bios since its a Gateway or something it might not be able to set the voltage or X right for the processor.

From what I've found, both the FX60 and the Opty 185 have an operating voltage of 1.30 to 1.35 volts. And again, the FX60 ran "OK." The the board ran the other Denmark Opty CPUs fine. I don't know. I am going to try it I think. Wish me luck.
