My computer the write speed in hdd is 35-40 MB/S. How about yours? I read some thread the maximum speed is 90 MB/S. If anyone go beyond that pls inform. I have SSD Corsair Force 3 60 GB. The spec is 490 MB/S but in OS it is only 65 MB/S. So i dont understand about this.

LoL and you complain???HAHA!
My maximum write speed is about 4.3 MB/S.Sometimes it's 5.0,but very rarely.
If you don't like the speed,we can trade :D
Otherwise shut up lol :D

Assuming this is an internal drive why are you running it in PIO-1?
Have you looked and followed this thread's advice?

And what motherboard do you have? Does it support SATA III?

That would be my first suggestion as well. There is definitely something wrong.

I don't lol.Everything is on DMA.My CPU usage is also great and everything works great.Only when I transfer files with Ubuntu booted from the CD,the speed is about 4.3 MB/sec while on other strong computer(s) with the same HDD type it's 22 MB/sec :P And I know it is the SAME HDD because I used the SAME HDD from my computer and then put it in other few strong computers adn the speed was 22 MB/sec or more :P

Well what can I expect lol.My computer is approximately 15 years old lol.
