MB bad?

Ok I thought I had it fixed with a bad memory stick but then I found out 1 of the slots is bad so I'm running with only 3 slots. It ran fine for a week and now its blue screen crash dumping again. The following is reported:Problem signature:

Zip the minidump file and attach it to your next post and also do the following

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.
 
Try running Memtest on your RAM sticks.
Or you can Plug in only 1 RAM stick, leave it and add more, whichever RAM stick is the first to blue screen may be the bad one, or you have a virus.

i have a feeling this is a hardware issue, probably motherboard. Can you zip up the recent dump files and attach them to your next reply?
 
I meant zip the dump files, not the report from bluescreenview. Go to

C:\WINDOWS\Minidump

and zip each file and attach them to your reply.
 
I have more but I have exceeded my alotment for now. Am I correct at assuming that the data is corrupt by not completeing correctly due to hardware not reading correctly? I cannot believe it would be a virus as I started over with the HD and incountered this problem as soon as I started back up. I also find no virus when running software. Can hardware be damaged by viruses? I know that a virus can control such things as fans etc. that can lead to damage.
 
Each of those dumps point to something different, nothing is standing out here. Can you list your hardware, what memory you have and what motherboard?
 
I have MCP61 HM MB, AMD 64 x2 Dual Core 6000, now 3 gigs ram 1from oem, 2 gig from Mushkin (new)(would have 4 gigs but 1 bad slot), Nvidia GeForce 6150 se, 2 seagate 320 gig hd but only running 1 until this is figured out, New 500w psu Enhance, Lightscribe optic reader, and some tv card I never use. Running Vista Ultimate 32bit. I have upated all drivers and recieved all Vista updates. Sometimes it loads with no problems others are as you see. Sometimes it may take several attempts to get it to load but I suspect the MB being bad since all this is so random as well as the 1 memory slot being bad, maybe something down the road is failing as well?

If you don't use the tv card, remove it. Remove anything that you don't use. Try only using one stick of ram too. If you know for sure you have a bad memory slot, then it just may be time to get a new board.
 
Yes I did from your info on another post (Very Helpful by the way). Thats how I found the bad slot. So i guess the next question is where to get a MOBO that will work with my old CPU/Memeory etc. Newegg does not carry this MOBO at all since it is obsolete. I need something compatable with MCP61PM- HM. Also does it matter what version MoBo? I have a REV version 1.0B.

Yeah it is. I found 1 on ebay for $83.00 from China oem type exact. I have Vista Ultimate so it shouldn't be a problem? Also it has 4 memory slots for 4 gig's on 32 bit or 8 on 64 bit system. I have only 32 bit so 4 gig's max. actually 3.5 gig's is correct for the max anyway from what I understand wheather you have 4 or not.
