MB + CPU + GPU upgrading

Tax time is around and I feel the need to upgrade my computer!
My current specs are in my sig.

What I plan to upgrade is the CPU and GPU

I hear great things about the i5-2500k, but I will need to replace my motherboard is well.
I do not know much about the 1155 sockets, and I am curious of any suggestions on what is a good board to grab? My price limit stands at around 150$ +/-.
Also, I will need it to be compatible with my current memory sticks (4x2g)

For the GPU, I am thinking of going 6950 crossfirex

there is no way that you will get a SB CPU and Motherboard for 150 USD, unless you use a 5 finger discount on one. The 2500K is 219 iirc then you would need a board.
I would (in your stated budget) get a better GPU and save up for 1155 board and CPU.

well from the site I found that popular board for about 187$.
thats not legit or what?

edit: oh and no I meant that the ~150 towards the motherboard itself, not both of course lol
