McAfee just installed, cant send/recieve in outlook express.

i have just installed McAfee and now cant send/recieve emails in outlook express. it attempts to send recieve and just says "finding host" then just stops, i no its mcafee!! :mad:

please help!!

If you have the firewall installed you will need to allow outlook express to access the internet through your firewall. There should be a allow/ban section in your firewall control panel

@ James:

It may be that McAfee is blocking access to outlook. Usually there is an exclusion list in an antivirus program. I know Mcafee does as I have used it before. Is outlook express on the "allowed" list? If it isn't, add it. If it is, report back and we'll provide you with further assistance :)
