who here has or has had a MDG computer.. im looking to get a new desk or lap top (not sure yet) and i was hoping for input
note
i would use it for programming and gaming like HL2 doom and that kinda stuff

They can make you custom computers.

I have one and it's great, never had a problem with it and runs nicely...

Mdg isn't bad quality?? The service is good as well/

i was going to ask how their quality is bad
like for replacement parts are they like dell?
is it the brand of the parts they use or waht?

I have had one MDG before. They use very bad hard drives like "Western Digital" and crappy unknown DVD drives. Their motherboard, again, is cheap just like dells. Their monitors are also cheap brands. Lastly, they have sucky graphic cards on their systems.

wtf? I have all known quality parts in mine.

I have a 19' viewsonic 2ms response time and is crystal clear.

I don't know which mdg yuor going to but mine is certainly not like that at all.

now i dont know what to think... i didnt think western digital was that bad but i guess i can just keep asking around and see what everyone says

maybe he didn't have the funds to ''customize'', so he went with a cheap one. you get what you pay for.

i've always used western digital drives, and can't complain about them at all. i still have a few very old 3 and 6gig wd drives that still work fine, as well as 2 120gig satas raided, and a 250gig ide that i threw in an external enclosure, all western digital.

how about letting us in on the system specs? can't tell if it's worth it if you don't tell us what it has.

wow did he just dis western digital? the maker of THE fastest hard drives sold for personal computers?

they said it was like a contract and if i wanted to upgrade then it might screw up...do you know differently?

Yesss. I have 2 pcs and one of them is an mdg and im gonna upgrade it after the holidays with a new video card and another gig of ram.

I see no reason why it would screw up? My pc has never froze or had a problem and im on it like 24/7

im almost thinking MDG is a good way to go

imo its good. You can chose what you wan't when yuo buy it. They sit you down and ask everything your gonan use it for and how much your willing to spend on it and they ask you which parts you wan't in it and in about 24-48 hours the computers gonna be in your home.
