Mdg

I have had one MDG before. They use very bad hard drives like "Western Digital" and crappy unknown DVD drives. Their motherboard, again, is cheap just like dells. Their monitors are also cheap brands. Lastly, they have sucky graphic cards on their systems.

sorry, i quoted the wrong member. question goes to this quote.

the time line to get one sounds amazing i have a MDG outlet like 5 min from my house... i thin it woud be worth it to stop in eH?
thx alot for all the help any other thins u can think of you rock

all these companies you say are 'crap', they obviously arent because otherwise trading standards would have been onto them long ago! the cheaper the better as far as im concerned, because they all do the same thing at the end of the day

What do you mean, what do I mean? What do you think I mean? That every single one of them has been a bloody nuisance? That the IDIOTS password protect the BIOS so I can't get into it? Like they think they have a right to do that. Like they use crappy components that make Walmart's look like Alienware. You know.. Stuff like that.

seriously, build your own computer. you'll be soooooo glad you did.

not only is it cheaper, but you get to know exactly is in it, and gain experience on how you can fix it if it ever breaks, you can make it exactly like you want it, and the warranty is better IMO because every single part is warrentied individually, so if you have a problem with say a stick of ram, instead of sending your whole computer off just to get it fixed, you can just pop out one of the sticks or ram, send it in and still have a running computer you can use.

and there is no way to remove the password or get better parts for it?

There's no way to get rid of a BIOS password, really. Well, I have a tool around here for one BIOS brand somewhere IIRC, but I don't know where it is off the top of my head. I would have to search through more than a Terabyte of crap to find it and I think I'd be more inclined to licking an ashtray, personally. :)

As for replacing the components.. Sure, but does it make any sense to buy a rig, and then replace the whole damn thing just so you can have a quality rig? Nahhh. Just build your own. You'll be very glad you did.

alright, im thinking tiger direct is teh best place to go because most of the local places are kind of expecnive and im in canada

dont buy it they say the prices are really cheap but u have to get a mail in rebate of like 2000$ that might not come

well i just wanted an opionion for when i do have money so that im more prepared ..sorrry for creating such a both to your life

No, no.. It's just that you ask when you're ready to buy. I HATE when people do that. Or they ask after the fact. See, things change all the time. What we tell you now may not be accurate two months from now. That's the only deal.
