Instead of being the bigger man, and stating proof of your claims and not acting immature, you provoke the person you are arguing with and challenge them. Not to mention you're doing this to an Admin, which shows you have no respect what so ever to authority here at computerforum.com.

you might find your stay here cut short if you can't properly state your claims and find it necessary to provoke people instead.

Apparently you don't. Speed, in the case of CPUs is measured in these things they call Hertz. Every Pentium 4 CPU runs more Hertz than the Athlon 64 equivalent.

btw, that pic was kinda cool for a couple of seconds........then i realized how dumb it was.

anyway, You computer is a little behind his overall i believe. Now if your computer is where you want it, then just go like that with maybe a few tweaks to make it more towards your liking.

It really didn't make any sense, and for the short time I have been a part of this forum I have seen him help more people than anyone else here. He has proven himself to be well educated.
And I thought the picture was funny, as did others so it's hardly a failed attempt. I don't exactly think he was trying to make YOU laugh however.

listen buddy i know your trying to do the whole admin Devinne intervention thing but take a step back and read harder. i never once said Intel was crap i never said a bad thing about them all i said was "stay away from amd" and those little 4 words must have hit a weak spot in your pride because your making such a damn big deal about it. and yes i have very high expectations from a company and they let me down but that's a far cry from "fanboyism"

Obviously we all know you meant Intel. But it's a sign you should stop to think instead of typing ignorant posts.
Now, my personal choice of processors at this time is AMD, however I recognize Intels strong points as well, so I am pretty nuetral. And for you to say "stay away from Intel" is basically saying that AMDs are better, which is, in fact, a fanboy statement considering AMDs aren't better at everything. As previously stated they both have their strong points.

Ohh yeah, their future looks very grim.....I mean, what good is a multi-billion dollar company if they have given YOU a faulty CPU? Come on man, get off your high horse for a second and think logically.
They can make great processors, have been making great processors, and will continue to make good processors. You do realize that every company that makes computer parts (including AMD's processors) is bound to sell faulty hardware. I have heard of people getting athlons that were dead when they received them, could we then conclude that Intel is a better company?

Apparently you dont actually know. AMD chips compared to Intel chips are generally slower. Since you're lack of literacy skills has obviously not afforded you the capacity to pick up on specific words i'll spoonfeed yet again.

1. Speed, for computers, is measured in Ghz.
2. Speed and performance are two different things
3. For the most part, Intel machines are clocked faster (that means they have a higher clock aka GHz rating) and thus ... they are faster.
