Media Center Prob

[HELP_ME]

when i open media center to watch tv or whatever it always freezes for a minute then i get a message saying:

"Messenger Failure"

windows media center was unable to open messenger. Please make sure that windows messenger is installed on your system.

i think i have uninstalled windows messenger but why should that affect media center? and how do i fix this cause it annoying.

Do a restore. Not recovery!

Go into programs and accessories and system tools and find "system restore" - do that and restore it to the time before your started getting those messages.
