Ok I need your suggestions on this, my first time building a Media Centre PC. It will be also used for fairly recent games and needs to be <$1500.

Abit KV8 Pro motherboard
AMD Sempron 64 2600+
Corsair Value Select 1x 1GB
ATI All-in-Wonder 9800 Pro AGP
Western Digital WD 2500 KS hard drive
Plextor PX-740A DVD+RW
Cheap floppy drive
Antec Sonata II

You can buy a much better computer than that for $1500. The specs of the system you posted is probably worth about $800 if you buy the parts seperatly.

$800 is even better, I may change my mind to an a64 3200+.

yes that is very expensive where are u getting these prices, you will often get cheaper if you purchase a pack so think about that
