i tried installing media player 10 on my laptop with Vista but came up with the message that says i need to have 32 bit OS (which i have). i dont know why its giving me this error. im doing this because i hate media play 11 with a passion......

is there any other way to downgrade my media player 11 to media player 10 on my laptop with Vista?

thanks

Usually Laptop will come with the Media Player, so it should not be a problem.
My laptop also come with WMP ver 11 runs fine

i have WMP 11......i dont want it. i want to downgrade to WMP 10. i just like WMP 10 a lot better.

Are you sure you have the 32-bit and not the 64-bit version?

And im guessing that this is one of those things where Windows wont let you downgrade to a lower version of WMP, probably because of DRM and what Vista requires.
