media player problem

hello. i hope you can help.

my wimdows media player plays videos. but the picture is orange and dark. it worked fine before. i don't know what i did to make it bad, as i don't watch many videos. but perhaps my new agp video card has something to do with it.
XP PRO. i tried VLC Media Player, does the same thing.

I'm not pro with this but i think it's a codec thing.

If your video card was going out you would notice it everywhere, not just playing videos on WMP. It's most likely a codec problem. Try downloading the divx codec here. Hopefully that will get you going again.

yah.. maybe.. but i think you better change your video card if the codec wont work...
