whats the best media player for songs thats free i also want some thing that can search through my computer for all my songs but i hate windows media player
 
Itunes, Winamp.....

i personally like itunes.

I like the WMP 11 in Vista you can open it in full screen and do a search, that is good :D
 
MediaMonkey is what's you're looking for. It'll search your computer for audio and it'll also search your library for a particular song(s)...

I love VLC for all my movies, but for music its not like you can have your collection there and browse through it. You'd need to open up each song from windows explorer.

I actually prefer that method over playlists and such... granted it's a little weird, I just never got used to playlist, collections and stuff (I've tried...)
 
haha yeah i sorta see what you mean. Like its not the same for me, but i can understand where your coming from.
 
ok that media monkey think looked bad ass and i like it but why wont it play like half my songs it shows there on there but when i click it it goes grey and then goes to the next song but windows media player will play all my songs
 
Have you tried Kantaris? It's free, it plays any song or video without codecs and you can also search your entire computer for mp3s with it.
