Memory & AMD CPU Compability

I was wondering if the AMD Athlon 3200+ Socket 939 could support DDR 400 ? i read its description and it proclaimes that it supports up to DDR 3200

is there way to over or under clock it?

As ripken said, it does support PC3200 and yes you can over and over clock as needed (if your board supports doing so)

Isn't the 400 just the frequency and 3200 is the type, sort of?

3200 stands for the theoretical bandwidth of the memory ~3.2GB/s

That's a misprint. It's PC 3200 which equals DDR 400.
