Memory and HD - Real Easy and Quick

HD-
I am getting this PC thorugh monarchcomputer.com and I was going to get
Seagate 200 GB HD for $110 -
http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=M&Product_Code=150525
but then I saw
Seagate 250 GB HD for $109 - http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=M&Product_Code=150322

Why would the 250 GB be cheaper than the 200??
Should I get the 250 then?

Memory - I just want some good reliable memory, dont need the best... I do some gaming and watch tv/movies with this pc.
which is the best to get---

2 sticks of 512 mb Corsair Value Select - PC-3200 Corsair (VS512MB400C3)
or
1 GB DDR (2 pcs 512) PC-3200 (400) OCZ Copper (OCZ4001024ELDC-K)
or
1 GB DDR (2 pcs 512) PC-3200 (400) OCZ (OCZ4001024PDC-K)

why not get the 250 if it is cheaper and all else is the same. as for the ram I'd probably take the corsair (assuming it is less expensive than the OCz Copper)n it will all work and both companies offer lifetime warranties

Well thats what I am wondering... Why would the 250 be cheaper? Is there something I am missing...

Well the Corsair only comes in 512 so I would have to get 2, but yes still cheaper then the 1 Gb (2x512) OCZ Copper... if I got 2 of the 512 Corsair would that still be Dual Memory? The Corsair is even cheaper then the Regular OCZ.

I doubt that it will be dual-channel. Usually dual-channel comes in kits of two sticks. As far as the hard drives go... maybe Monarch Computer just didn't notice they are selling the 200GB for more than the 250GB.

hmm well is it alot more beneficial to get dual channel?

Out of these 4 Dual Channels which would you recommend, Again I just need good reliable memory for soem gaming (BF2, COD) and multimedia...

1 GB DDR (2 pcs 512) PC-3200 (400) OCZ Copper (OCZ4001024ELDC-K) - $139
or
1 GB DDR (2 pcs 512) PC-3200 (400) OCZ (OCZ4001024PDC-K) - $103
or
1 GB DDR (2 pcs 512) PC-3200 (400) OCZ (OCZ4001024ELDCPE-K) - $129
or
1 GB DDR (2 pcs 512) PC-3200 (400) OCZ Copper (OCZ4001024PFDC-K) - $118

-- As far as the HD you see there is no difference and that the 250 is the same as the 200 besides the size?

for dual channel you only need 2 sticks of ram it doesn't need to be from a kit. 512x2 means 2 512MB sticks. you might as well go with the 250gb it appears to be exactly the same as the 200.

get the corsair..i got 2gb of it and it runs great for what gaming and such that i do..its also overclocked and handles fine

1 GB DDR (2 pcs 512) PC-3200 (400) OCZ (OCZ4001024PDC-K) - $103

Out of those 3 would the top one suit me fine?

Yes, any of them will suit you fine, but if you aren't looking for 'the best' ram why not go for the most inexpensive? It will work just as well, and the most expensive ram might get you 5-10% better performance on memory benchmarks (ie. who cares)
