I am using 2G kingston pc3200. I still have two slots left and see corsair is having a sale. If I buy @g corsair that is pc3200 and I ok to have two different manufactures or do I have to stay with the same manufacturer. Thanks.

It is highly recommended stickign with the same RAM manufacturer and model - mainly because of the differences in RAM timings and speeds. Your new RAM should be able to run at the speed of your old RAM, and vice versa. If you have a know-how on how to modify RAM timings in BIOS, create uniform RAM speed and get successful bootup, I'm sure it would work... I'll let others also have their say...

yeah you dont have to keep the same brand you need to look at the voltage, timming and speed. if they match your good to go.
