memory latency

hello to everyone!i'm having a problem with my ram.i have 2*256 mb ram,pc3200.my memory latency is very high-181.9 ns.I don't know why my computer so slow is.A couple of months ago i had 128+256 mb ram and it worked great,better than now.my motherboard is dfi 661fx.Can somebody help me,please!!!

Benchmark the ram make shure its reading PC 3200 and not 1600. Sometimes mother boards can read ram rong. This test will tell your ram times and speeds. Then start messing with timings in Bios till you get the effect your looking for. You shuld be around 65 NS to 50 NS.
