MEMORY PROB!!!Quick help!!

I had 2GB of DDR2 (800MHz),Kingmax. I bought 1 more same and i pluged it and tried to turn the pc but it restarts all the time,i tried all possible combinations and nothin works and i even tried pluging just the 1 i bought and its not working,does this mean that this what i bought is not working or?:confused::confused:
 
It only doesn't work when you put the new one in? Yes that sounds like bad RAM. Exhange it for a new one.
 
bad ram or bad ram slot. my computer did that when i had a little plastic peice fall off the stick into the slot right as i was putting it in.
 
Thx for help...its bad ram cuz i tried it at friend and its not working too so i supose its bad ram and i called shop where i bought it and hey said its possible that its bad ram and i should bring it so i get a new one... :D
 
use memory diagnostic tool to find wethr ur ram is faulty.... (vista users)
alternatively use other diagnostic tools for the same .... hope it helps
 
I went to store and i told what's the problem and now they said its something with chip...
but i dont think so cuz it didnt work at my friend...Anyway thx for help... :D
