Memory question

I have 2x512mb sticks of memory, dont know the brand. In my new computer I have 2x1gb sticks of corsair xms memory. Both the 512mb and 1gb are pc3200. Can I put the 2x512mb in the free slots next to the 2x1gb, or does everything have to be the same brand/same size?
 
as far as i knew all it had to be was the same pin like pin-184 and itll work, i dont know about the perofrmance but it should work

he said PC3200, that means its DDR 184 pin DIMM

yes you can put the 2 x 512's in the new system with the 2 x 1024 sticks and itl work fine
