Memory Question!

Okay, I have to two PC2700 256MB DDR SDRAM cards, one is 333MHz and the other is 166MHz.

My question is it okay to put them in together, or will they not work properly 'cause the BUS speed is different?

It will work, but they will both operate at 166 MHz. If you wanted you could buy another 333 MHz ram module, they are very cheap.

Is it possible to use together different DDR SDRAM cards? As an example, 256mb with 512mb..

Speed and type have a bearing on whether or not different dimms will work together. You would see system stalls if trying to run a single sided dimm with a dual sided module. Those are incompatible with each other. The speed of the memory as far as timings will also have a bearing. In most cases the closer the actual speed is to the slower dimm the more compatible. The size difference between two identical dimms only sees a performance drop to a degree where using same size dimms when running multiple is the best advice given by the experts while they still will work together. Gamers will certainly want to match size and speeds on memory.
