Memory Stick shows some files only (folders gone)

So I have a memory stick that i accidentally used in a friends computer who had some sort of virus (i have advised him to use malware bytes).
So what has happened is that when i use it now in my PC, i can only see the files but no folders. I have a lot of important folders - the names of all that i dont remember because it is a 16gb memory stick.
Luckily, when i type the folder path in the address bar (my computer) it opens up. This tells that they are there but not visible. Unfortunately, i dont remember all folder names. I really want to retrieve all my folders....

Go into File & Folder options and click on "Show Hidden Files & Folders". You should then be able to see all your files. Once you see them all, copy them to your computer. I'd then scan that folder with MalwareBytes and then format the flashdrive.

You can try running unhide while the drive is plugged in but doubt it will do anything.

thanks........this is what i did right now and it works:
I right clicked on 'G' (usb drive) and clicked search. I then chose a random letter and it showed all folders with that folder name. I copied and pasted and it works...
