Memory under clocked?

I just put in 4gb of GSkill DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 but on CPU-Z it shows my DRAM Freq. is at 573.3MHz.
What do I need to do for my memory to run at 1600 like it is supposed to?

I'm using an ASRock 870 Extreme3 with 955BE OC'd to 3.45GHz

that number is half of what the ram is running at (it is really running at 1146.6). in order to run it higher than that or to run it close to 1600, you'll have to overclock your processor more.

That doesn't make much sense to me... Shouldn't the memory be able to run at a higher freq. regardless of what my CPU is clocked at?
But good to know that the number shown is doubled :)

You need to go into the bios and manually set the timings and voltage for the memory. However, that motherboard only supports memory up to 1333 mhz without overclocking. You will have to overclock more to get more out of the memory.
