Memory upgrade help

hey guys I'm trying to upgrade my memory and according to a Scan at www.crucial.com I need DDR PC2-6400 But I searched on Newegg for an upgrade and I didnt really find much, also how can i find the exact Pin that I need. is there a program that allows me to just look at it without taking it out.

Also can you mix speeds? say I have DDR PC2-6400 can I add two more sticks of DDR PC-2700? just curious. anyway thanks in advanced guys
 
What computer do you have? If you already have ddr2 memory installed then your motherboard doesn't support ddr memory.

How much memory is installed and how much total do you want?

I have 2 Gigs and I want 3-4
My computer is a cyberpower I bought it like 2 years ago off of Newegg. I just need to know exactly what I can get so I can shop for the best deal
 
Then get another 1-2 gigs of the same memory you have, providing that the motherboard supports it. Without knowing the specific motherboard that is in the machine or the model number of the computer, we don't know how much memory it supports.

thats the thing, I dont know what kind of memory I have. therefor i cant buy the same type. and I dont know how to find out.
 
Open the side of the case, how many memory slots do you have? Remove a stick and look at the label, tell me what it says.

It is Kingston

on the very left of the sticker it says:
BKMK1680852
On the very top it says:
Kingston KVR KVR800D2N6/1G
in the middle it says:
990S316 028.A00LF 1.8V
Middle right:
3746093-2887662

Thats all it says IDK what any of it means
