Hello

I have a quick question.... I was thinking to upgrade my computer a little since it;s around 3 years old..... Still not a bad machine but instead of buying a new one I was thinking to make some changes.

My current :
CPU: E8400
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-X38-DS4
RAM: OCZ Titanium XTC 4GB (2 x 2GB)DDR2 800
GPU: BFG GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB
PS: CORSAIR 520HX 520W
Case: Antec Nine Hundred
monitors: Lacie 324 i Gateway FPD2485SW -- both 24" 1920x1200
win 7

I was thinking to upgrade the ram to 8gb maybe CPU change to some Quad and video upgrade to two ATi cards or one f.e. HD6850 ( I would like to in the future plug in 3rd monitor)

I don;t play games much so I'm not looking for expensive upgrade I would just say refresh.... and use it in Photoshop environment

But first I need a quick answer about the memory. My current memory is OCZ Titanium XTC 4GB (2 x 2GB)DDR2 800 OCZ2T800C44GK 4-4-4-15... do I have to add exactly the same 2x2gb to run 8gb ?
or I can buy any other 2x2gb and add.... or I have to find something what's running 2x4gb or 4x2gb

And here is a deal.. I found this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280672980886&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_550wt_1139

Is it a good memory to replace my current memory ?
Please about quick answer since the auction is almost end.

It would be best to either add a matched set of sticks from the first set of memory or change it all out for new memory as some memory don't play nicely together.

How much memory do you use total now? If you don't come close to 4gb then there is no sense to get more.

John's right. Adding more RAM won't help unless you are running out and things start to stutter.

sometimes i'm running in my business like 10 website opened at the same time and they are refreshing automatically every 4-10 seconds, after a while it's slow my computer a lot..

Any ideas how to make a better performance at this field ?

My current ram is: OCZ Titanium XTC 4GB (2 x 2GB)DDR2 800 (4:4:4:15)

Are you cleaning out your browser's cache everyday? You can use Ccleaner to do that.
